High-end maternity portraits
Welcome to L.M. Pane Portraits. I am the premiere photographer in Idaho’s Treasure Valley who specializes in magazine-quality maternity photography. I serve the communities of Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Star, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, and beyond, capturing memories that last a lifetime. This is a luxurious portrait experience that offers beautiful, handcrafted artwork to display images for your home. Some clients prefer wall art — matted prints or hand-painted canvases that are stunning and perfect to display over a mantel or some other prime focal point in the home — while some gravitate toward album collections.
Prints are produced on museum-grade paper and imported from Italy, designed to last a century. Hand-painted canvases are produced in the United States and lovingly produced using brush strokes to give it a painterly feel. These are high-end portraits that will look fabulous in any home and lovingly treasured for generations.
You buy only what you love!
In general, I recommend a session when you are between 26 and 33 weeks. Your baby bump will be in full view and you will look stunning!
Step 1: Free Consultation
The first step is to book a free, no-pressure consultation. We will use that time to discuss the type of maternity portraits that call to you, what you hope to accomplish and how we can create the very best experience you’ve ever had in front of a camera. These consultations can be done either at my Boise photography studio, or via Zoom. It’s always best to see the studio, be able to view in person the dresses and fabrics available to you for a photoshoot, and also to see up close the various prints and products available for purchase. Prints and products include folio boxes and large matted prints imported from Italy on museum-grade paper, as well as hand-painted canvases created here in the United States. Consultations are best held well in advance of the photoshoot, so if you decide to book a session, we can ensure a convenient time is available for you, me and the hair and makeup artist.
Step 2: The Photoshoot
In general, I recommend having the session when you’re between 26 and 33 weeks, even earlier if you’re expecting twins or multiples. I’m generally fully booked about two months out, so I highly recommend nailing down a date as soon as possible in your pregnancy. The session at my Boise photography studio, conveniently located at the Lakeharbor complex off West State Street, starts with complimentary hair and makeup. We’ll have on hand a variety of beverages to ensure you remain refreshed throughout. Each session achieves about 3-4 different looks: from Vogue-style, magazine-quality images to black-and-white images that pop.
Step 3: The Reveal and Ordering Appointment
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we will meet again to view a collection of edited images from your session. It’s here when you will decide which images you would like to purchase, what size prints, and what products you might want to have made. Each print comes with a high-resolution digital version.
